Convention 2008
The 2008 Convention is behind us,
and now CANC is looking forward to a new year. The
board has expressed a desire to make CANC relevant
to both the membership and our Partners this coming
year.
This will happen a variety of
ways, but the first priority will be through
education. Information is a vital part of
maintaining a standard of excellence all NC funeral
professionals desire. CANC is making plans to be an
active part of paving that way of excellence.
Funeral service changes on a
rapid pace, and it seems new ideas are ever on our
horizon. Innovation is necessary to keeping funeral
service relevant to the public. No degree of
excellence is sufficient if the public does not see
a need for funeral service. By joining with our
Partners, we hope to keep our membership on the
leading edge of new advances in technology, services
and products.
Lastly, what value is information
and innovation without enthusiasm? Inspiration is
contagious and the influence of motivated funeral
professionals spurs us on toward the same ingenuity
and vision. It has been said that excellence is the
gradual result of always striving to do better. CANC
has begun that journey, and we hope you will join
us.
